Comments
Comments: I brought my snowshoes but the trail was packed down enough not to need them. Whenever I got to snow that was a bit deeper/drifted and thought about putting them on, in less than 30 seconds the snow was less deep/more packed. I would not recommend bare booting; there are patches of just ice with no snow coverage; I used spikes the whole way. Fire tower is locked at the top but you can still climb up and get some views, just bring your layers. Also beware falling ice; I could hear big chunks falling from the radio tower, didn't see any falling from the tower while I was there
