Comments
Comments: Good day in the woods. Half the group bare booted up to Brutus. Other half wore spikes. Snowshoes were helpful up Brutus. Spikes coming down. All the crossings were straight forward to get across. Upper section of Lincoln brook has some standing water and slush . The created some balling up on the spikes. One more good snowfall will fill in the lower trails nicely. Lots of bent over trees and several blowdowns but overall the trail was in decent shape.
