Hit the Wapack trail in spikes start to finish. There was enough snow on this well traveled trail to the great summit complete with Firetower and two toilets. We were a party of 8 ladies and we packed down the trail well today. Snowshoes would have been overkill at this point. However, it is supposed to snow again tonight and tomorrow am. You just don’t know this time of the year. Love winter hiking and we had a good warm up early winter hike on this fun mountain. Marion Davis was equally in good condition. Most snow was at the higher elevation, but the trails were all well covered. |
