Parking/Access Road Notes: Sawyer River road closed but parking lot right next to it is open. The road is a 2-mile walk to the trailhead.

Water Crossing Notes: 1 big water crossing passable With using poles to check for deep water and rock hopping. Wore bare boots in this section.

Comments: First time breaking trail which made it slow-going. Beautiful day with more snow the higher you go. Steep, particularly at the top. Used snowshoes for most of the day. Several blowdowns to crawl under. Wind wasn’t too bad.
