A few small trees on and over the trail. All have bypass paths. Likely to get worse after the rain. |

Spikes below 4000' on the ascent worked fine. I used snowshoes for the unconsolidated snow and drifts above 4000' to the hut. Gulfside and Osgood on either side of the hut was drifted several feet in the trees and challenging. Once out of the trees, spikes were fine to and from the summits. I used snowshoes down to about 2500' on Valley Way to smooth out the boot holes in the trial. It should be good after the rain and it freezes up. |
