A beautiful morning out with Gypsy Hiker. December 10th for Calendar Day is done. Bonus - early enough for the dogs to join! Another 3-4" of fresh snow. Wore snowshoes from start to finish. Water crossings are open and rocks exposed - easy to cross. Some open water between last crossing and the view. One open section north of the view - an easy walk-around has been tracked out. Definitely need snowshoes, however, with the rain coming, it's anyone's guess as to the conditions for the next hike! |
