With all of the rain earlier in the week, I wasn’t sure what the conditions would be like or if there would be any snow left on the trail, but I was happy to see a packed trail and only needed microspikes from the trailhead to summit. Absolutely beautiful views at the summit with 15 MPH winds. The clouds opened up to some blue skies and we could see majestic Washington. A winter wonderland on the summit! The blowdowns (40 counted) were mostly towards the summit but easily passable, just a bit annoying. |
