Trail Maintenance Notes: Incredible amount of blowdowns on the ridge, particularly bad between North Carter Trail and Imp Campsite.

Comments
Comments: It took me 4 hrs to go from where Carter-Moriah intersects w/ North Carter Trail to the Moriah summit.

Bare booted to zeta pass then switches to snowshoes coming down South Carter. Trail is packed down to North Carter but then nothing to Moriah Summit. Exposed sections descending North Carter were very slick.

Coupled with the slow going due to blowdowns I elected to descend Stony Brook and do the 5mi road walk back to the Nineteen Mile Brook lot than backtrack to North Carter Trail.
