|
 | Recommended Equipment: |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail has recently been rerouted. The new route is well-marked coming from the north, but only a very small sign on a log is there coming from the south. The blazes on the new part are pretty good, but there are a few spots where they could use a little updating (despite not being new to this trail we got turned around once or twice). |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Very icy on the ledges and ours didn’t like it much so beware. |

 | Comments: |
Micros are a must, though they’ll get beat up (so wear your beaters if you’ve got them). The ice was a bit gnarly on the ledges. Some can be avoided but some can’t. There were one or two short stretches when I crampons might have been nice.
Beautiful day, but windy and cold so we skipped Middle. Pics to come on Insta at quantum.moxie. |
