Comments
Comments: Lonesome Lake Trail to the hut is very well broken out. Microspikes will be fine for that extra comfort. When you start on fishing Jimmy. that trail is a mess. Lots of down trees. lots of frozen rock, snow, total body work out. Ups. The trail is just getting wider with finding new routes to bypass down trees. 1.9 miles of yikes. When you finally reach the shelter junction no one has braved to break out the cannon balls yet. You can switch over to Snowshoes. Snowshoes were worn on the Kinsman's ridge Trail all the way to South Kinsman's Summit. Tried to patch up some of the post holes from previous hikers mistakes of not bringing snowshoes. Fishing jimmy and the higher summits in that region need a hard reset and lots of SNOW please.
