Comments
Comments: We picked up the Ammonoosuc trail behind the base station. The first mile was very icy. After the first mile most of the trail was hard packed with areas of ice. Some spots had loose snow but not for any distance. We wore spikes up and crampons down. We were able to make good time on the trail.
