| Comments: |
Nice day in the woods today with comfortable temps. Trail varied between sections of well packed trail or sections of bare rocks and ground. The steeps up and down were the same as well packed snow, followed by bare or ice covered rocks. For traction rock spikes were all that were needed as they did not slip on the steep packed snow. It was just slow down the south peak shifting from packed snow into these bare rock troughs. Snowshoes would have been difficult in bare rock sections. Snowshoes and K10's went for a ride today |
