| Comments: |
A dusting of snow down low giving way to consistent snowpack starting at the foundation/kiosk. Bony down low (this trail melts out faster than other mountain trails in the region), becoming deeper about two thirds of the way up (closer to 4" of powder on top of the existing snowpack). It's getting bootpacked, but snowshoes would probably be a better bet on adjacent trails that don't get as much melting as this one. I was able to get by on this trail roundtrip without traction, but others may prefer Microspikes.
Cloudy afternoon with temperatures in the upper 20s. |
