The crossing was moderate. We had to step in a little less than 1" of water flowing over the rocks but with spikes on our boots didn't really get wet. |

There really isn't enough snow for snowshoes. You'd be scraping rocks a lot. We carried snowshoes since we didn't know what conditions would be like but we used spikes the whole way. The slabs at the top had ice and there were some brief sections where you needed to think carefully about footing even with sharp spikes. |
