| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Snapper is in good shape, just a couple minor blowdowns. Maybe a dozen blowdowns on Carriage between Snapper and Glencliff. Most were easy to get past but I had to crawl under, through or around several these. Gorge Brook is pretty good too, just a couple of bigger obstacles fairly high up but with walk arounds forming. Many thanks to all those that help out! |

| Comments: |
Good snowshoe conditions. I wore mine all day though the trail up Gorge Brook is somewhat packed by bare boots. A bit of a snowshoe track exists through the trees near the top of this trail. Crunchy blue ice across the summit with just a few rocks poking through. Carriage and Snapper are mostly unpacked with about 5 inches of new snow over a good base. Some big drifts on upper Carriage in the trees. Most everything is well covered by snow and very few open areas. |
