Time for the monthly Eastman update. Spikes were fine until the Eastman/Baldface Knob junction. Snowshoes worked way better after that to the summit. Almost put them on after the last water crossing on Slippery Brook, but was glad I didn't because it's bony enough you would bottom out frequently. No one else out today, even on the Baldfaces. |
