Comments
Comments: Hiked counterclockwise to get Tom first. A-Z trail is very steep. Spur is not. Nice hike on ridge over to Field and Willey. A few spots of unconsolidated snow and drifts but mostly hard packed. Avalon trail which is steep at the top was slippery due to hard pack / some ice going down. We wore spikes all day and had minimal post holes. Carried snowshoes and they also would have worked though trail can be narrow in spots. Crampons may have been helpful on the way down for extra traction.
