| Comments: |
It was a perfect weather day for Franconia ridge. It snowed into Tuesday morning so the trail were very soft. I needed snowshoes for all below treeline trails. From haystack to north Lincoln there was a mix of snow drifts and icy rock so I used crampons for that section. Between north Lincoln and Lafayette it was mostly snow drifts so I switched back to snowshoes for that section. Bring snowshoes! |
