Above treeline I'm sure there will be a crust. Was above freezing so all the snow in the sun got wet and sticky. Half a foot of new stuff. Only 6 people hit Jefferson today, and not all from Jewell. Only half had snowshoes, so trail conditions are a mixed bag. Once in the trees on Jewell, its largely unconsolidated since the snow is so light and fluffy. |
