Did this as an out and back to South and Middle Carter from Nineteen Mile Brook Trail. Trails were mostly well packed, and microspikes were sufficient until out of Zeta Pass; trail between South and Middle Carter really calls for snowshoes. Bare booters did a lot of postholing today. Blowdowns are mostly either minor or have been cleared;a few did require crawling under. |
