 | Comments: |
Temp inversion kept the lower half of Crawford Path in excellent microspike shape, with the white sidewalk in full effect for fast conditions. Last mile of Crawford Path had a bit of sticky snow by the afternoon, but no post holes in the trail itself. Shoulders are soft and you will definitely sink to your shins if you step off in the wrong section. There are three paths broken out from the junction up to the summit along Webster Cliff Trail *sigh*
but all are snow covered. A few icy spots but nothing requiring more than microspikes. The trail to Ike was broken out but the track is definitely not solid yet, snowshoes are the only tool for that job right now unless you want to aerate the trail for seedlings lol. Trail will be a mixed bag after the multiple days of rain and freeze, so be prepared! |
