Very sloppy trail conditions, almost like spring hiking. Started with spikes in the morning, with wet packed snow and ice. Quickly took them off as the trail turned mostly wet and muddy. Ledges were dry, thankfully. By the afternoon, things were extremely muddy, with snow melt and runoff, leaf dams, etc. Still enjoyable! Just messy. |
