Surface Conditions: Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Slush

Water Crossing Notes: Crossing going up Zeta Pass not bad. A couple sections of open flowing water on Zeta Pass trail and Imp. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Significant blowdowns around South Carter and immediately outside Zeta Pass, everything was straightforward enough to get around. 3 large blowdowns on top of Imp, not bad to scoot under. Trail is to the right outside Zeta Pass, does not go up the steep little ridge.

Comments
Comments: Did fine with dull Hillsounds to South Carter, snow loose and granular above Zeta Pass. You might be ok going to Middle Carter without snowshoes but it'll be easier with them. Snowshoed all the way to ~0.4 below the Imp split, switched back to spikes at that point. Smooth and snowed in above Imp split, lots of rocks and water channels below it. Think snow!
