 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Major blowdown on bottom section of South Ridge Trail that is causing major erosion. It's been there for at least a year, I think. Very big and needs a chainsaw, but it's near the Round Pond Parking, so shouldn't be too hard when road is open. |

 | Comments: |
Barebooted. All blue ice was avoidable. Trail is very dry and footing is fantastic, especially on South Ridge when climbing from the Pond, which is usually a little slippery. Limited visibility from the tower. First winter hike with leggings and trail runners, which was very nice and sped things up a lot. |
