Comments
Comments: A dusting of snow down low on top of ice, and a few wet sections within a few miles of the road on 19 mile Brook, Carter Dome Trail, and the Imp trail. Started in spikes up 19 mile and switched to snow shoes at Zeta pass. Big shout out to Donna, Elizabeth, and Dick, who broke out Carter Dome. Plenty of powder and deep drifts on that trail as usual. A few of us worked together from the pass to break out towards middle Carter, and we were psyched to run into Don who had broken trail up the Imp, North Carter, and across the Carters. I was very happy to have snow shoes on across south and middle as there are plenty of deep drifts in those sections as well. Switched back to spikes at the junction of the North Carter, and Imp trails. No tracks heading towards Moriah on the C-M. Some folks possibly heading down Carter dome to the hut to break out that section.
