Comments
Comments: The road is consistent with earlier reports - rock hard and spikes work best. Snowshoes not strictly needed for the first few miles but definitely the best option higher up. Leading to the ridge, it was 6-10" unconsolidated powder in many places. The nasty post holes in early reports are mostly gone. No great views today but I forgot how great of a climb Carrigan was even with 4 miles of road walking!
