We went about a mile or so before putting on the spikes, and wore them the rest of the hike. After the first junction, there is a lot of ice under the new snow.
This website is such a wonderful resource for (1) checking on the hikes I'm currently planning, (2) getting great ideas for other hikes, and (3) finding out when I have new work to do on my trails. Thank you! |
