Comments
Comments: What a day! 24 miles to grab this traverse. Light snow all day but also light winds. Barebooted to the river then snowshoes all the way until just over Bond. Microspikes until Bondcliff because it was too rock. Snowshoes back on for the upper two miles off Bondcliff and then back to spikes when it got rocky/ice again. Trails were packed in good condition until South Twin. After that - we had to break trail over to Zealand, West Bond, and Bond - 6" to 2 feet with drifting in places. Thankfully someone must have come as far as Bond within the last few days because their was a choppy trail broken out that helped alot! We didn't see anyone all day.
