Comments
Comments: Bare booted to bone the river crossings then donned snowshoes for the rest of the trip. I took mine off about halfway back down the road. Trail and road were nicely packed by the afternoon, but still quite unconsolidated up to. Saw three runners in spikes, but I would personally have hated all the slipping. Gorgeous day up top, but cold and windy!
