Posting this for people doing their planning for tomorrow. Many people were headed for Eisenhower and they will surely post later.
Route is a well-packed superhighway all the way to the summit. Perfect for spikes but full coverage for snowshoes, too. Impossibly snow-laden trees are stunning throughout.
Fun, quick "solo" hike in amazing scenery but violating the Drive:Hike Law. ;) Encountered old friends and new. Nice to chat with Alan, Rick, Eric, Sara(h?) and others and a joy to run into old friends, Amy and Mike. |
