Comments
Comments: I wore spikes the entire time. Lincoln Woods Trail was a mostly a hard packed trail to the Black Pond trail which sees less traffic. The Black Pond trail, bushwack, Lincoln Brook Trail and Brutus were easy to follow due to previous snowshoe traffic.(Thank You) At times it was smooth sailing and at times the snow and trail was soft so it resembled walking on the soft sand at a beach. On the ridge at the top the snow got significantly deeper but still no problem walking without snowshoes.
