Comments
Comments: The trails are in great winter shape. The plan was to hike out and back Rollins because I didn't know what the ledges would be like in the cold. I was wrong. I changed my mind after seeing two hikers on rollins and hiked the loop. Blueberrty ledge Trail above 2500 Feet is excellent spikes the whole time. Below 1800 feet its really bare frozen earth rock spikes will be fine. Went up Dicey Mill trail changed over to snowshoes after the water crossing. passed Rollins and summited Passaconaway first. The trail up to summit was solid and packed very well. Hiked on Rollins and was very pleased with the conditions. used Snowshoes the whole time. The trail was in great shape in the sun. I passed two hikers which gave me confidence that blueberry ledge is good. Blueberry Ledges were packed down very well. Changed back over to my spikes after Whiteface and descended Blueberry ledge without any issues.
