| Comments: |
Spikes from the parking lot to the loop junction. Recommend snow shoes ascending either direction due to the steepness and unconsolidated surface. ( fresh snow). Used snowshoes across the ridge due to intermittent drifts. We descended north with spikes . No visible ice flows so it was relatively straight forward getting down. Large group after us planning on a butt slide party down south. So no guarantee what the condition will be after the snow is swept off. Trail down low is a little bony with a few exposed rocks. Overall very manageable conditions. |
