| Comments: |
Not too different from the report earlier in the week, other than a couple of inches of fresh snow. Down low there is definitely ice under the snow thus the spikes seemed prudent. There is now adecent track all the way to the summit now, but not super consolidated because the snow is so dry. That made for some glissading on the short steep sections coming down from Mt. Parker. We used spikes up to the intersection, then snowshoes up to Parker and back to the car. Stunningly beautiful blue sky and views while we were up there, but then the clouds came in. |
