Comments
Comments: Started at 8:00. The road walk was still a little soft. I bare booted until it was time to put snowshoes on a couple miles into the actual trail, and kept them on until returning to that point. It was a windy day and on N. Twin spur there was a lot of drifting and the trail became obscured. Otherwise a pretty good trench was formed with several people out in snowshoes yesterday. Some came up North twin, and at least one went to Garfield. The lower part of Gale River trail was packed well enough to jog on the way out but the road was still loose from snowmobile traffic on my way out at 4:00. It was nice to see other folks out without feeling too crowded.
