Comments
Comments: You will absolutely need snowshoes for Kinsman Pond Trail! Not so much for Cascade Brook, although they certainly wouldn't hurt, and you would not regret having snow shoes on for Fishin's Jimmy and over the Kinman Ridge. We saw MANY people who had turned around after North because they only had microspikes on.

Finally, a word about glissading. It may seem really fun to slide down the steep parts, but please remember that you are making it far more difficult for those still trying to get up. Instead, stepping out steps is a kinder alternative.
