Comments
Comments: Lower section of trail was exposed rocks, roots, leaves and we bare booted until about 0.5 mi from Mount Morgan. Light snow coving some slick ice from there. Beautiful views! Difficulty finding trial towards Percival and the blazes we found led us down the cliffs (not the caves). Steep, vertical, and icy, covered with sticky snow that kept building up on our spikes. Spent too much time hitting snow off the spikes. Once past the steep part of the descent, switched back to bareboots. Still some ice hiding under snow and I took a couple hard falls. If I were to do it again, I’d go counterclockwise instead.
