| Comments: |
Last week there was a lot of ice but the few inches of snow this week really helped add some traction to the ice. I still used microspikes the entire way and would highly recommend them. Areas of the main trails that I did go on had a generally packed path and it seems like people are mostly going a decent job staying on the trail. The steepest areas of the Mt.Major trail are really icy under the snow and you should be careful. Bonus once you reach the top is Winnipesaukee is fully frozen over. |
