Comments
Comments: Trails down low were in pretty great shape. Only spikes needed down low. Surprisingly boney in some areas too with exposed rocks. Snow becomes less consolidated just after Liberty Springs tent site and pretty much stays that way most of the way over to Flume. Spikes worked OK getting over to Flume, but in hindsight I should have switched to snowshoes earlier - would have just made it easier. I switched to snowshoes at the summit of Flume and took in the views for about 15 mins, since there was very light wind at that time.

The trees are bending and hanging quite low on the way over to Flume. I was ducking for stretches at a time so I didn’t get smacked in the face. There’s also a couple of blowdowns in the col between Liberty and Flume, but easy to go around. Great day to be out on the trail with so many folks enjoying the day too.
