 | Comments: |
Did the Wildcats the previous day and stayed at the Hut. Snowshoes not really needed anywhere on this route, but I wore them for the televators and to smooth out the fresh light coating of snow as I was the first traveler of the day on most of the route. I bypassed Mt. Hight due to the wind and cloud cover. Went to spikes for the descent when re-summiting South Carter as I opted to out-and-back rather than loop it with the roadwalk. Trails are a superhighway. It only took me 5 hours for this 10mile route with breaks. Go get it! |
