Great winter hike today. Microspikes the whole way. Snowshoes would have been helpful on steep approach to North Hancock and over the saddle where there were some good drifts from high wind. Cold and blustery on the ridge. Controlled butt slide down South Hancock. Good option today given high winds and cold wind chills above treeline. |
