| Comments: |
STARTED HIKING ZEALAND RD, AT THE CAMPGROUNG. DUE TO THE COLD FIRM CONDITIONS, AND THE MANY SNOWMOBILES PACKING THE SNOW DOWN, I WAS ABLE TO EASILY USE SPIKES ALL THE WAY TO THE TRAILHEAD. IT'S A LONG WALK, AROUND 4MI I BELIEVE. ONCE ON ZEALAND TRAIL, IT WAS SMOOTH SAILING IN SPIKES ALL THE WAY TO THE HUT, WITH NO POST HOLEING. TRAIL WAS WELL PACKED, THERE WAS A TON OF TRAFIC, INCLUDING A COUPLE FAT TIRE BIKES, AND A BUNCH OF SKIIERS. AFTER THE HUT, IT WAS SNOWSHOES ALL THE WAY OUT TO ZCLIFF AND ZEALAND. TRAIL WAS PRETTY MUCH BROKEN OUT, BUT THERE WERE A FEW FRESH INCHES, AND THE SNOWSHOES DEFINETLY MADE IT EASIER WALKING |
