Just microspikes needed, snow was a little deeper up higher, but still plenty of rocks and roots poking through to make spikes a better choice. Snowshoes would have been overkill.
Quiet Monday, a few cars in the lot, but didn't see a soul for the 8+ miles we trekked, which is amazing.
Blue skies, small breeze, lovely mountain and Winnipesaukee views. A perfect day to play hooky from work. |
