| Comments: |
Fun hike today! The trails were in amazing shape - reasonably hard-packed snow but very little ice. We used spikes the whole way just for extra safety margin, but with the exception of a few of the steep spots on Basin-Cascade I bet it would bareboot just fine. There were a couple of postholes where people stepped off the packed track by mistake - about knee deep, easy to avoid [or just wear snowshoes...]. |
