Comments
Comments: The Loop Rd was soft so I started with snowshoes and kept them on for the day.. slightly bony in lower areas but it did snow almost the entire hike.. 30-35 mph winds created snow drifts on the upper shoulder and above ~3800’ expect the trough to disappear.. occasional knee deep drifts encountered and my tracks were filling in quickly upon my descent… with the higher winds, the new snow was not accumulating to the upper steep section just below the summit and my Tubbs had good traction
