Comments
Comments: There may only be a few inches of snow down in Rumney, but it's full-on winter up by Stinson Lake. Snowpack along this trail was about 10 to 20 inches.

I wore snowshoes roundtrip. A few other folks wore snowshoes, but a few Microspikers were churning and postholing. Had there not been so much traffic on the snowmobile trail, I probably would have descended that way to avoid the divots, but alas.

Cloudy afternoon with temperatures in the teens after the sub-zero start.
