Last minute decision to visit the first mountain I got lost on as a newbie hiker. It looks so different with snow AND daylight! :) Did the loop CCW with shoes door to door. Spikes would have done the trick but could use more packing, especially higher up and around the east ledges. Here the powder was less packed and drifted in spots. No visible ice to traverse and minimal roots and boulders were spotted. |
