Comments
Comments: Went up Welch and down Dickey. Loose snow on top of hard pack with some icy spot. Definitely want some form of traction. I found my trekking poles quite helpful and would recommend those as well. I was with a group of three and we saw a couple other hikers, so it could be more packed now. The trail is very well marked and you can follow what's packed down. There are some foot prints leading off-trail, so pay some attention to what you're following! It was a great hike and the views were awesome!
