Showshoes beginning to end. Good packed trail on Zealand rd. One person had done Hale brook a day or two ago, one person went up behind me. Good base on lend a hand but mostly drifted over. Twinway had solid base but was unbroken recently. Turned around at the zeacliff viewpoint. The trail was totally drifted over past there towards Zealand.
Stopped in at the hut on the way back and had a pleasant chat with Addison. I was very glad he had started the woodstove to thaw the beard. Chilly with moderate wind up high.
More snow coming soon! |
