Comments
Comments: Started Pine Bend in microspikes. Changed to snowshoes very quickly. The trail was well packed but the snow was so soft we had no traction. There was a little less than an inch of new snow; minor drifting up high. We wore snowshoes the rest of the way, except changed to crampons to cross the slides on the Sleepers. We encountered one icy stretch on Rollins covered lightly with new snow. Thanks Tim for keeping me laughing today.
